Coconut Bacon

for 4 servings

  • 2 cups
    coconut flakes (150 g)
  • 2 tablespoons
    soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon
    maple syrup
  • ½ teaspoon
    liquid smoke, optional
  • coconut oil, for greasing

Preparation

Under 30 min

  1. Preheat oven to 325˚F (160˚C).
  2. In medium bowl, add coconut flakes, soy sauce, maple syrup, and liquid smoke. Mix until thoroughly coated.
  3. Grease pan with coconut oil. Spread the coated coconut flakes in a thin layer onto a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 10-15 minutes, flipping every five minutes until golden brown.
  5. Serve with your favorite dish.
  6. Enjoy!
