Ingredients

for 6 servings

  • 15 oz
    chickpeas, 1 can, drained and rinsed (425 g)
  • 1 cup
    pumpkin puree (225 g)
  • 2 tablespoons
    olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • salt, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon
    paprika
  • ½ teaspoon
    fresh rosemary
  • ¼ cup
    lemon juice (60 mL)
  • pita chip, to serve

Preparation

  1. Combine chickpeas, pumpkin, olive oil, garlic, salt, paprika, rosemary and lemon juice in a food processor or blender, and blend until smooth. Add more olive oil or water as necessary to reach desired consistency.
  2. Serve with pita chips.
