  • 2 tablespoons butter, or butter substitute
  • ½ medium yellow onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup milk (235 mL), or unsweetened nut milk
  • ½ cup nutritional yeast (30 g)
  • 2 cups dry elbow pasta (200 g), prepared

Preparation

  1. In a large pot over medium heat, add butter and allow to melt. Once melted, add onion and cook until soft.
  2. Add flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika, and stir until combined.
