Ingredients

for 4 servings

  • 4 cups
    walnuts (400 g)
  • 2 egg whites
  • ½ cup
    sugar (100 g)
  • ⅛ teaspoon
    salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 300˚F (150˚C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the walnuts, egg whites, sugar, and salt and mix with a rubber spatula until the walnuts are well-coated.
  3. Spread the walnut mixture evenly on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 30-40 minutes, stirring every 10 minutes, until the walnuts are crystallized.
  5. Cool completely.
  6. Enjoy!
