Cheesecake Baked Apples

These cinnamon cheesecake baked apples are the ultimate dessert mash-up! Sweet and tart baked apples stuffed with creamy cheesecake filling and a touch of cinnamon

Cheesecake Baked Apples

Ingredients

for 1 serving

  • 8 oz cream cheese (225 g), softened
  • ¼ cup sugar (50 g)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg
  • 1 honeycrisp apple, or apple of your choice

Maple Pecan Sauce

  • 1 cup whipping cream (240 mL)
  • ¾ cup maple syrup (250 g)
  • ½ cup crushed pecan (60 g)

Optional Topping

  • graham cracker, crushed

Preparation

  1. Mix cream cheese, and sugar. Mix in the egg, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  2. Hollow the apple with a melon baller.
  3. Fill ⅔ of hollowed apple with cream cheese mixture.
  4. Bake 25-30 minutes at 176˚C (350˚F).
  5. For maple pecan sauce, boil whipping cream and maple syrup until thick. Stir in pecans just before serving.
  6. Serve with crushed graham cracker (optional) and maple pecans sauce.
