Chocolate Peanut Butter Rice Treats

Ingredients

for 16 servings

  • 2 cups
    peanut butter, divided (480 g)
  • 3 cups
    marshmallow (150 g)
  • 3 cups
    crispy rice cereal (75 g)
  • 1 ½ cups
    chocolate candy (305 g)
  • 2 cups
    chocolate chips, melted (350 g)

Preparation

  1. In a sauce pan, combine and mix 1 cup (240 gram) peanut butter and marshmallows over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  2. Lower the heat and cook until melted. Remove from heat.
  3. Add in, rice cereal, and chocolate candies. Mix until evenly combined.
  4. Turn mixture into buttered 9x9 (23x23x5cm) pan.
  5. Melt 2 cups (350g) of chocolate chips in a bowl in 30-second increments.
  6. Pour melted chocolate over pan and spread evenly.
  7. Melt 1 cup (240g) of peanut butter and drizzle over chocolate.
  8. Sprinkle ½ cup (100g) of chocolate candies over top. Chill for 2-4 hours.
  9. Cut into squares.
  10. Enjoy!
