Ingredients

for 16 balls

  • 1 package vanilla wafer, crushed
  • 1 cup
    powdered sugar (160 g)
  • 1 cup
    crushed nuts, walnuts or pecans, crushed (100 g)
  • 3 tablespoons
    light corn syrup
  • ½ cup
    bourbon (118 mL)
  • powdered sugar, for coating, as desired

Preparation

  1. Crush wafers.
  2. Crush nuts of choice.
  3. Place in a large bowl the wafers, nuts, 1 cup powdered sugar, corn syrup, and bourbon.
  4. Mix until well blended.
  5. Shape into quarter-sized balls.
  6. Roll in powdered sugar. Refrigerate for at least two hours.
  7. Enjoy!
