Banana Cupcakes With Chocolate Frosting

Ingredients

for 12 servings

Cupcakes

  • 1 banana
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup
    water (236 mL)
  • 3 eggs

Frosting

  • 2 bananas
  • 2 cups
    cocoa powder (240 g)
  • ½ cup
    honey (170 g)
  • ½ teaspoon
    vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon
    salt

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF (175ºC).
  2. In a large bowl, mash a banana until it reaches a liquid state.
  3. Mix in the remaining cake ingredients.
  4. Pour the mix into 12-cup muffin tray.
  5. Bake for 18 minutes.
  6. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before applying frosting.
  7. To prepare the frosting, mash 2 bananas until they reach a liquid state
  8. Mix in cocoa powder, honey, vanilla, and salt.
  9. Add frosting to cupcakes.
  10. Enjoy!
