We Tasted The New Starbucks Summer Drinks And Here's What We Thought

They're permanent additions to the menu.

Summertime PSA: Starbucks just added two new options to their menu to help you escape the heat: a Salted Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew and an Iced Vanilla Bean Coconutmilk Latte.

We decided to taste test both of them to see if they were worth the hype. Here are our thoughts!

First: the Salted Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew. Here's what it looked like:

TBH, it tasted like a caffeinated butterbeer. We were into it.

Next: the Iced Vanilla Bean Coconutmilk Latte. It looked like your standard iced latte:

...But definitely tasted less sweet and somewhat more diluted.

TL;DR: The Salted Cream Cold Foam Cold Brew is smooth and has a butterscotch-like taste, while the Iced Vanilla Bean Coconutmilk Latte is a milder alternative to Starbucks' more intense iced coffees or frapps.
